On Saturday, I thought it would be fun to share a few of the places that I found inspirational this week.
Heather at Hopscotch & Hydrangeas - There was enough decorating inspiration in this one post to keep me busy for the rest of the year. The inspiration pics for their baby-on-the-way is gorgeous! She has some great ideas for her older son's bedroom and the inspiration pics for the master bedroom are to-die-for. Not to mention that Heather is just an all around sweet gal.
Liz at Mabel's House - I adore her perspective on color. She has a way of choosing such beautiful, soft, soothing colors. The pictures of her blue bedroom make me want to go paint all my buttery-yellow walls a cool blue color. And she linked to a bunch of inspiration so you're sure to get completely lost in blogland. :-)
Mary @ At Home Redesigns - I nearly popped from excitement when I saw her centerpiece idea for a baby boy's shower. So easy and fun! LOVE IT! I can't wait to host a shower for someone so I can steal this idea and listen to everyone tell me how brilliant I am! But I'll be sure to give Mary all the credit. Maybe. :-)
Sarah Mae at Like a Warm Cup of Coffee - Sarah Mae has a way of perfectly articulating the things that so many of us struggle with. Her post on feeling overwhelmed went straight to my heart. I've never heard someone state so clearly the problem of keeping our homes tidy and welcoming. And she doesn't just talk about the problem, she makes wonderfully helpful suggestions. Make sure to check out her 31 Days to Clean series. You can jump in at any point.
And because I can't bear to post without pictures, here is what we hope to be doing this weekend.
Picking some strawberries.
And a little general silliness.
