Sunday Morning

I wait patiently for the Lord;
he turned to me and heard my cry.

He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.

He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear
and put their trust in the Lord.

Psalm 40:1-3

One of my favorite set of verses! I claimed these as my own when I was struggling through post-partum depression. So thankful for my new song!

This is beautiful! What wonderful, encouraging verses. And, as always, what a great picture to accompany them. The photo could represent something different for each one of the verses you've included. Did you take the photo?

Blessings on you as you re-enter day-to-day life after a week at the beach!
