Projects and a Giveaway!

The giveaway at the end of this post has been completed. Click here to see the latest giveway on my blog from Moms Unite.

Two projects and a giveaway today!

Do you stamp? I'll bet a bunch of you do. I don't. At least not in the way of some of you uber-talented ladies who manage to create things that can only be described as works of art. I'm much more likely to spray paint my stamps and wear them as earrings.

But that doesn't keep me from appreciating a good stamp project. Especially ones that are quick and easy. I'm all about quick and easy.

Martha Stewart

How cute are these candle holders? They look like etched glass but they're really just frosted candle holders that have been stamped with white ink. I'm definitely going to try this for Christmas with frosted candle holders from the dollar store.

And this?

I love it! If I had wooden steps, I'd be doing this one right now. Although my basement steps are wood. I'll do it there! Why not have something pretty coming up out of that unfinished space?

Now, onto our giveaway brought to you by Moms Unite!

Today's giveaway is being sponsored by Ashley of Me Oh My Paper Boutique. Ashley makes the most adorable personalized stamps.

And stickers...

And note cards. Those stamps are especially fantastic! Wouldn't they be great for signing Christmas cards or on the back of your envelopes?

I'd love one to stamp the inside of all of my books. That way, when I loan them out, I stand a chance of getting them back one day. They would make a fantastic Christmas gift too! Or a wedding gift!

The winner of today's giveaway will receive a customized stamp from Me Oh My Paper Boutique.

Wait! There's more! Because she loves us so much, Ashley is offering all of our readers free shipping on any order placed by November 6th. Just enter the code "KIMBA" when you check out. I'm a shopping code! How cool is that???

This contest will close on Friday night and the winner will be announced on Saturday.

The winner of our giveaway from A Touch of Stardust is...

Carrie of Proverbs 31:27 - Congrats Carrie! Shoot me an email and we'll get things set up.

First of all, I love this blog. You are going on my blogroll right away! I love what you said in your profile about setting the tone in your home - it really is such an important job and I needed that reminder. Thank you!

Secondly, that pic of the painted stairs is so lovely! We just moved into our first home and I've got the perfect little set of steps that I will be doing that to. Where did you find the idea?

Lastly, this is a cool giveaway and one that would be super handy, since we just moved and no one knows our new address. I'm gonna keep all my fingers a toes crossed!

Sorry for the long comment - I just really enjoyed this post!
