Love Me a Purple Lemon

I am so thrilled to have Purple Lemon Designs as a sponsor on ASPTL. I can honestly tell you that I love Kelly's work because I was a client of hers before she was a client of mine. You're going to love Purple Lemon too.

I don't know how I shipped anything from my Etsy shop (or my blog for that matter) without one of these custom business stamps. Wait. I remember. I would end up with a claw-hand from writing "Thank you for your purchase" over and over and over. Or worse, I didn't write it at all. That's bad business.

She also makes beautiful address stamps for your personal correspondence.

And bookplate stamps to make sure you get back all of those books and videos that you loan out.

I will definitely be giving a monogrammed wedding stamp at the next bridal shower I attend.

I love this idea! It's customized printable stationery. You provide your name and initials to Purple Lemon Designs and you get back a customized electronic file that you can use to print your own personalized stationery at home! You can print folded cards, flat cards, enclosure cards and envelopes with the step-by-step instructions provided. Brilliant!

I know you're wondering...Is there a giveaway? Of course! One winner will be able to choose ANY item from Purple Lemon Designs (up to $40). Yay!

All you have to do is visit Purple Lemon Designs and leave me a comment telling me what you will choose if you win. Don't worry, you can change your mind later.

You can also get another entry if you Tweet about this giveaway or post it to Facebook, MySpace, whatever. Just come back and leave a second comment.

Dayspring ~ The Life Collection Giveaway

This giveaway is closed.

4-piece place setting

Have you seen Dayspring's new line of kitchen and tableware products? Fabulous! It's called the Life Collection and it features the Bible verse John 10:10 (NIV), "I come that they might have life and have it to the full." Those words bring joy to my heart. The generous (and really nice) folks at Dayspring sent me some samples of the collection to use in my home.

And use them, I did. It took me exactly 3 minutes from the moment it arrived on my doorstep to fill this gorgeous pitcher with my Sam's Club daisy bouquet. I'm in love! Wouldn't this pitcher make a fantastic Mother's Day gift filled with some inexpensive flowers? You could fill it with asparagus and it would still be beautiful.

We had friends coming over Friday right after my box of goodies arrived from Dayspring. I couldn't resist using them. Look how nice the platter makes my store-bought cupcakes look and my strawberries look extra yummy in in the Life Collection bowl.

And a few angel food cake crumbs don't make the dinner plate any less beautiful.

Yes, the entire collection is beautiful. Each piece is like a little work of art. But they're practical too. Each piece is dishwasher and microwave safe. That makes the coffee mug my favorite since I rarely get to finish a cup of coffee without having to reheat it.

I just couldn't resist doning this adorable apron and pretending to be a domestic diva. What is that thing in my hand anyway? ;-)

Would you like some of the Dayspring Life Collection for your home? You can use the code Life20 to save 20% off your entire order at Dayspring. Shipping is free too, if you spend $50!

~~~~~~~~~~
What's that you say about a giveaway? Oh yeah! The generous folks at Dayspring are going to give one of my readers $50 to spend at Dayspring.com! $50! Woo hoo! There are 3 ways to enter...
1. Leave me a comment and tell me which of the Life Collection pieces you love the most. If you don't have a blog, make sure to leave an email address so I can contact you.
2. Tweet this giveaway. Just come back and leave a second comment with a link to your tweet.
3. Mention this giveaway on your blog with a link back to this post. Then come back and leave me another comment with a link to your post.
You can do any or all of these for up to 3 chances to win! A winner will be announced on Tuesday, May 12th. Good luck!!!
P.S. - My friend, The Nester, has an exciting announcement today. It involves something FREE for you.
Lisa Leonard Designs: A Jewelry Giveaway
open circle necklace
I met Lisa Leonard at Blissdom.
Actually, I recognized her from across the room and raced over to introduce myself. She was so gracious and kind as I fluttered around and gushed about how much I loved her work.
be still necklace
Lisa makes beautiful jewelry with her very own hands. Each piece is a work of art that can be worn with your jeans or your little black dress.
double heart cuff
The thing I love the most about Lisa is the reason that she started making her timeless jewelry...so that she could quit her job and be at home with her two boys. I think that makes each piece a little labor of love for her own family.
family tree necklace
Because she is a mother, it comes as no surprise that she has created the mama necklace that actually brought tears to my eyes when I saw it. Every mama that I know (including this mama) would love to receive this necklace for Mother's Day. It's on May 10th, so there's time to order.
A Giveaway: Inspirational Home
You are going to love this! I promise!
My blogging path has crossed with Jeanne Winters several times recently. After a few meetings, Jeanne emailed me and asked if she could send me a little something. Never one to pass up presents, I said, "Absolutely, girlfriend!"
Imagine my delight, when this gorgeous book showed up at my door! It's delicious! I devoured the whole thing in one sitting and then passed it to my mom who did the same thing.
Inspirational Home: simple ideas for uplifting decor and craft by Jeanne Winters is packed full of decorating, project and craft ideas with easy to follow instructions. The pictures are positively glorious!
Each section of the book is full of page after page of beautifully inspiring projects and crafts for your home.
Jeanne also wins the award for "the sweetest note I've ever received from someone I don't know in real life". A small excerpt in her own words: "I try to inspire ladies who do love their spray paint and pillows - to see ways to create meaning they might never have thought of. Sure, it's one teensy, weensy aspect of creating that soft place, but it's my niche and I'm trusting God to use me where He's planted me!" Amen sister!
Are you convinced? Are you going to whither up and blow away if you don't get a copy of this luscious book? Here's you chance. Jeanne is graciously offering TWO copies of her book to be given away to my readers.
All you have to do is leave me a comment by Friday, 2/20. You don't have to jump through hoops or go on a treasure hunt. Just comment. TWO winners will be announced on Saturday.
If you absolutely can't wait to see if you win, Jeanne's book can be purchased from Dayspring, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble.
And just because I can't resist telling you all a little more about how much I love Jeanne...she is one very busy girl. She has a line of inspirational gift products in Hallmark Stores AND she shares project ideas on her own fabulous blog AND she has a line of art prints available through her etsy shop. Whew! I'm tired just typing all of that.
Now leave me a comment! And a little secret tip for you...Jeanne is doing a humongous giveaway of her own on her blog. You can enter there too!
