Moms Unite!

Everyone at A Soft Place to Land (yeah, that's just me) loves to support small businesses owned and operated by women. Whether you are an artist or a crafter, a graphic designer or a blogger looking for readers, I want to help you.

You know my friends The Nester from Nesting Place and Melissa from The Inspired Room, and Sandy from 4 Reluctant Entertainers, right? They feel the same way about supporting small businesses. That's why we created Moms Unite.

What does all of that mean?

Simple. It means that we want to offer you deeply discounted advertising rates for ad buttons that will be prominently displayed in the Moms Unite area of our blogs. You can run an ad on all of our blogs or just one of them. The more you choose, the greater your exposure.

How about some details?

The cost is only $50 per blog for two months of ad space. We expect to get well over one million page views between the four blogs over the next two months. That's a whole of of exposure for not a lot of money.

Who qualifies?

If you're a woman/girl/mom who runs a small business out of your home, then you qualify for these rates. And you don't need to be a mom to qualify. Moms Unite just has a nice ring to it. At least we think so.

Now what?

Sign up! You can advertise with all four blogs or pick and choose whatever works for you. The more you choose, the more results you'll see! Woo hoo! That's what we're after. Results!.

Advertise on A Soft Place to Land

You can click the Buy It Now button and get the process started. Once you've sent your payment, you'll need to email me the code for your ad button. Each ad needs to be a static 180 x 48 button that links to your shop or blog. If you don't already have a button, I can hook you up with some great graphic designers who can put one together for you.

And if you would like to advertise with Melissa, Nester or Sandy, please contact them directly. They will walk you through the process of getting your ad set up on their sites.

Melissa at The Inspired Room

The Nester at Nesting Place

Sandy at 4 Reluctant Entertainers

Then grab yourself the oh-so-cute Moms Unite! button for your blog and help spread the love!

Or this one...

Thanks so much for giving moms the opportunity to advertise with all of you!

Your email address isn't working. Is there an alternate way to contact you?

Hi Kimba, brilliant idea, and it is from women! Love that, I don't sell, but have made up my mind to buy from the moms and ladies you all post. Can't wait for this...it is amazing when a few ladies put their minds together what can be accomplished! I hope you keep stats so that afterwards and for next year...you can communicate what a success this was, and I am sure it will be! Great job.

Good Luck. I am going to do weekly giveaways until christmas. Little things that I purchased mostly. Things from my local Hallmark store. This weeks giveaway is a Year of the magazine Better Homes and Gardens, Stop by and enter for a chance to win.

If anyone wants to join my weekly giveaway party with their own product giveaway..it starts the end of the week.

I found your blog on SITS. You have some neat ideas.
I am in the process of starting a little business. I have been painting canvases and making hair-bows for a while now, but I would like to make it a little more official. I just had a girl design a logo so I should be off and running before too long. If I get a site going in the near future I will make sure and add it to your "Mom's Unite" page. Great idea!!

Where do we go to find everything that's for sale? I would love to buy from individuals rather than a corporate store. What a great idea!

This is a great idea! As a WAHM myself it's always nice to find places to advertise with other moms.

I am interested in this, but I was wondering how the advertising will work, exactly. There is only so much advertising space on a blog sidebar, so will you be rotating ads? Or just have a mile-long string down one side? Or will you only accept a certain number of ads each month? I own Lullaby Slings and would definitely like to get some more business exposure, but I want to be clear on what I'm buying first. :) Thanks!

I'm seriously contemplating this for my Etsy store. I love the idea. I am a mum and a small business owner and I think it is great for us all to support each other!

Hi Kimba, your email link doesn't seem to be working, is there another email that I can reach you at? I have a few questions.
